No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than
twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as
President, for more than two years of a term to which some other
person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the
President more than once.
Inauguration Day occurs every four years on January 20 (or January 21
if January 20 falls on a Sunday). The inauguration ceremony takes
place at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, DC. The next
presidential inauguration is scheduled to be on January 20, 2029
